What We Believe

"Accepting Jesus is just the beginning of your walk."

Trinity

  • Trinity: We believe in one God existing in three persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit, co-equal and co-eternal.

The Bible

  • We believe the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God, written by humans under the guidance and direction of the Holy Spirit, serving as the ultimate guide for faith and life.

Salvation by Jesus

  • Salvation through Jesus Christ: We believe in the brutal sacrificial death of Jesus and His resurrection as the only way to reconcile humanity with God, offering salvation and eternal life to all who believe in Him. We believe that Jesus, despite being rejected by the world, offered a path to reconciliation with the Father. Through His sacrificial death and resurrection, He provided the way for humanity's forgiveness and restoration to God.

Salvation through faith

  • Salvation by Grace through Faith: We believe in the Gospel's core message: salvation is a free gift offered by God's grace or unearned and undeserved actions, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Confessing one's sins and declaring Jesus as Lord is the means to receive forgiveness and eternal life, as no human effort or merit can earn salvation. You must believe and speak.

The Church

  • The Church as the Body of Christ: We believe in the universal Church, the body of Christ, composed of all believers, and in the importance of fellowship and unity among believers.

The Holy Spirit

  • Holy Spirit's Role: We believe in the Holy Spirit's indwelling presence in believers, empowering them for righteous living, spiritual gifts, and guidance.

Proclaim the Gospel

  • Great Commission: We believe in the Great Commission, as commanded by Jesus, to go forth and proclaim the Gospel to all nations, sharing the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ and inviting all to embrace a personal relationship with Him.

Personal Relationship with Jesus

  • We believe in the significance of a personal, transformative relationship with Jesus Christ. This relationship transcends mere knowledge about Him; it involves intimate communion through prayer, a devoted commitment to obey His teachings and learn more about His character, and a willingness to follow His guidance and will for our lives.

Called to be Set Apart

  • Living a Set-Apart Life: We believe in living lives distinct from prevailing cultural norms, seeking to align our conduct to look like our leader and King, Jesus Christ. Despite societal acceptance of certain behaviors, we strive to adhere to the timeless truths and moral standards outlined in the Bible, seeking to live in a manner consistent with its teachings. We believe in the call to a counter-cultural lifestyle, choosing to stand apart from societal norms that contradict biblical values, even if such choices are unconventional or go against prevailing cultural trends.

Christian Living as a Lifestyle

  • Continual Dedication, Not a Weekly Obligation: We believe that being a Christian is not confined to a weekly routine but is a continuous, intentional dedication to following Christ's example. It's a daily commitment to embodying Christ's teachings, reflecting His love and compassion, ongoing growth, unity, fellowship, service, and adherence to biblical principles throughout every day, influencing how we interact with others, conduct ourselves, and approach life's challenges.

Enjoy Life

  • Enjoyment of Life and Divine Assistance: We believe that God desires our joy and fulfillment on earth. We believe He admonishes us to care for His earth and live a life that does not live wastefully of His creation. We enjoy His creation. He has graciously provided wisdom and guidance through His Word and Spirit, enabling us to live purposefully and abundantly in this life. Moreover, God offers His assistance and support not only in our earthly journey but also promises eternal fellowship with Him in heaven.

Second Coming of Jesus

  • We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ for His church, where He will judge the world and gather His followers to be with Him forever.

Resurrection and Judgement

  • Resurrection and Judgment: We believe in the bodily resurrection of all individuals, leading to eternal life for believers and judgment for those who reject Christ.

Eternal Life

  •  We believe in the promise of eternal life for those who, through a life of ongoing obedience to Christ, demonstrate a genuine commitment to following His teachings and commands. This assurance of eternal life is not solely based on a single act but is a result of a consistent, obedient lifestyle characterized by faithfulness and devotion to God's will.
